O’Siyam Pavilion

Squamish - British Columbia

The O’Siyam Pavilion is a multi-purpose outdoor structure designed to accommodate outdoor performances, art exhibits, yoga classes, awards ceremonies and community events. A change room and small green room service the stage. The structure consists of 2×6 edge–laminated nailed decking on undulating hybrid steel-glulam moment frames, which wrap down to the ground on one side to act as a sound barrier to a busy artery to the east, and propped with delicate transverse HSS moment frames to the west.
