Saanich Junior High School

Saanich, British Columbia

The new Junior-High School for the Saanich Indian School Board is the latest facility constructed on the very busy educational campus serving the Saanich people of the Tsartlip, Tsawout, Pauquachin and Tseycum communities.

The structure consists of a combination of carefully crafted glulam post and beam and standard light wood frame construction. The connections are meant to be quiet and unpretentious and consist mostly of tight-fit stainless steel pins and hidden knife plates.
