Trillium Park Field House and Service Building

Vancouver, British Colombia

This 142 m2 field house and services building includes washrooms, change rooms as well as staff, storage and mechanical spaces. The reverse concave lenticular plan shape is achieved with concrete block masonry. The roof and canopy structure consists of solid wood construction using featuring reclaimed and recycled glulam slabs laid on the flat. The bold colour scheme provides a welcome pop to this elegant but restrained form in the otherwise bleak landscape that surrounds the seven acre Trillium Park.
